It begins at Gyeongbokgung, where palace architecture introduces the city's royal history, then continues into Seochon, where low-rise lanes, small shops and everyday neighbourhood life bring the scale down from palace grounds to residential streets.
At Gwangjang Market, the focus shifts to food and everyday city life, as travellers see what people buy and eat while choosing lunch among the food stalls. The final part of the day continues through Euljiro and Cheonggyecheon, where workshops, cafés, offices and public spaces show a more contemporary side of central Seoul.
